A favorable conditions for doing business will be created in Astana. This was announced by Akim (mayor) of Astana Imangali Tasmagambetov at a meeting in the Mayor’s office of the capital.
Imangali Tasmagambetov, the mayor of Astana: “The city’s economy is based primarily on the development of small and medium-sized businesses, which produce about 60% of the gross regional product.” Astana Chamber of businessmen has proposed to introduce the new ones and strengthen existing forms of support for small and medium-size businesses, as well as to reduce administrative barriers.
Meirbek Mazhitov, director of the Astana Chamber of businessmen: “We propose to create a working group, which would include representatives of akimat, members of the regional council, state agencies concerned and the expert community. This working group will identify administrative barriers that prevent the growth of business and, consequently, reduce these barriers.” Also at the meeting, the mayor of Astana reported that the time of consideration of permits for construction in Astana will be shorter, at all stages of the construction.
It is worth noting that today the mayor’s office in cooperation with the Fund “Damu” is organizing a service center in Astana for entrepreneurs; this center will provide businessmen with full package of services.
